VALORANT VOD review rubric for useful team notes

This rubric helps VALORANT captains and analysts tag VOD evidence by round state, first death, trade window, utility value, spike decision, retake path, and next practice action.

Rubric table

Review lensQuestion to answerEvidence to capture
First deathWas the player unsupported, too early, too late, or holding the wrong lane?Round timer, agent role, map location, teammate distance, and trade result
Utility valueDid smoke, flash, recon, molly, wall, or trap change the fight?Ability used, target space, enemy response, and whether the team acted on it
Spike decisionWas the plant, cancel, rotate, fake, or save call clear enough?Spike carrier location, enemy count, site control, and comms note
Retake pathDid the team group, clear, trade, and use remaining utility before defuse pressure?Entry order, utility count, flank state, first contact, and defuse timing

Tagging sequence

  1. Watch only one half first and tag no more than three repeated habits.
  2. Mark each note with map, round number, buy state, agent role, and timer.
  3. Translate the strongest pattern into one practice assignment for the next block.
  4. Save highlight examples and lowlight examples so the team can compare decisions, not personalities.
